Songshaper does not collect, transmit, sell or share any user data. It makes no network requests of any kind. Everything it holds stays in your own browser, on your own machine.
Songshaper is a Chrome extension that fills in and manages the input fields of Suno's music creation page, so that a prompt can be composed, checked and reused before it is submitted. That is its single purpose, and everything below exists only to serve it.
Songshaper stores the following using the browser's own
chrome.storage.local API, which keeps data on your device:
| Lyrics and song text | The words you paste into the panel, so they can be reused across takes and restored after each one. |

| Your styles and blends | Styles you save, keep or create, and the constants you apply to everything. |

| Run log and health data | A local record of which fields were patched and which attempts failed, used to tell you what is going wrong. It is built from your own use and is only ever shown back to you. |
| Panel state | Which sections you have open, panel position and size. |
None of it is transmitted anywhere. There is no account, no server, no
analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, and no third party of any kind. The only
fetch call in the extension reads a file inside the extension's own
package to check its version number.

A periodic check used by the unpackaged developer build to notice a newer version of its own files. It performs no network access. |

The panel has to read and fill the create page's own fields and notice when a take has been generated. This is the only site the extension can touch. |
Everything is yours and stays reachable. Back up in the
panel's "Controls, backup and repair" section writes the whole of it to a JSON
file you keep; Restore reads one back. Removing the extension
from chrome://extensions deletes all of it, permanently and
immediately, along with the extension itself. Because nothing was ever sent
anywhere, there is nothing held elsewhere to request, correct or erase.
Songshaper is a tool for making music with an existing Suno account and is not directed at children.
If the way Songshaper handles data ever changes, this page will be updated before the change ships, and the date at the top will say when.
